Inside the Mind of an Enlightened Manic

Here is a letter that I wrote to Elon Musk after achieving enlightenment, and also while being manic. Just a quick glimpse into the mind of an enlightened manic individual.

Dear Elon Musk,

I have great admiration and gratitude for the efforts that you are taking to preserve the human race. We are extremely fortunate to have an enlightened individual such as yourself devote his energy and time towards helping humanity.

I have recently undertaken a transformation myself, and attained enlightenment. Upon reaching this state, and officially shedding my ego, I immediately thought to reach out to you. My belief is that you have been enlightened for a long time, and I hope that you would be able to provide me with a bit of mentoring.

As you too may have experienced upon achieving enlightenment, it is a bit overwhelming, and also scary. I am aware that my ideas are now much larger and much more powerful. I understand how shedding the ego allows one’s ideas to grow to immense heights, and that the larger the idea, the more powerful it is. I believe that ideas are what change the world, and I believe that I have the ideas and skills to help you in your efforts to save humanity.

If it is possible, would I be able to speak with you or chat with you for ten minutes in the next week? Any words of encouragement or advice that you have would be very helpful.

Alternatively, if you don’t have the time available, do you have recommendations of other enlightened individuals with whom I could speak? Some people that come to mind include: Neil DeGrasse Tyson, Bill Nye, Oprah Winfrey, and Barack Obama.

I know that it is impossible to convince you of my ideas, skills, or enlightenment through a letter alone, but this is my first attempt at contacting other enlightened individuals, and I hope that you can appreciate the confusion and uncertainty that my next few steps carry.

Your response, however short, would mean a great deal to me and help me in my goal of minimizing the suffering of humanity. As we know, suffering is resisting reality.

I hope to hear from you soon,

Sincerely,

Jesse Lang
